ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

The Millennium Reachout Project (MRP) is a registered charity that was formed in 1999 to take a bold leap into finding solutions to the adversities that face the homeless and less privileged people in the UK. It started with the use of a team of vehicles to locate rough sleepers in London to give them a hot meal, clean clothing and a listening ear as well as offering them life changing supports including accommodation, skills & awareness training, legal support and advice.

Accommodation with rehabilitation services are now provided for these homeless people through our Reachout Homes Initiative (RHI) programmes.Click here for further informationIncorporated as a limited company in England in 2001 - number 4292878 and registered by Charity Commission in 2002 - number 1091639.

AIM & VISION

Our main aim is to provide relief of poverty and to advance Education of Young adults.
The vision we have is for rough sleeping to be eliminated from the streets of London and other major cities in the UK.

OUR POLICY

• We do not support or promote giving of cash (money) to ‘rough sleepers’ instead we make food(hot meal) & our other services available to ‘those’ who need them most.
• We do not discriminate against anyone we offer our services on the ground of sex, race and religion etc

• We do not, nor intend to, use agency to run our programmes. Our works are carried out by our members and staff in the UK & Overseas. Members & Staff have to undergo training programmes to meet our standard of operations.

OUR BELIEF

• We believe everyone has a unique potential to succeed, but often people in adverse circumstances (less privileged) are not able to realise or utilise their potential.
• That we are able to exercise the duty of Love & Care towards these ‘less privileged’ people in the society regardless of their religion, race or background.
• This duty of ‘Love & care’ is therefore exercised in the design and execution of our programmes firstly to relieve the victims of poverty to survive the day and secondly to help in developing their potentials so as to make them useful to themselves & the society.
